Emma Watson proves her fashion credentials

Emma Watson has clearly been paying attention at all those catwalk shows she attended this year, picking a dress by young British designer William Tempest for her latest premiere.

Tempest was one of this year's Fashion Fringe finalists, which is judged each year during London Fashion Week. Watson attended the competition's catwalk show, taking her place on the front row alongside Alexa Chung and Dita Von Teese.

Although Tempest lost out to Eun Jeong Hong for the coveted prize, Watson clearly noted his designs, and chose his navy blue bustier dress for the LA premiere of her new movie, The Tale of Deperaux.

A great boost for the young designer, particularly as the Harry Potter star has a known penchant for high-end designers, such as Chanel and Armani, we have to applaud Watson for her style savvy eye.

We'll look forward to seeing more from Tempest, on the red carpet and off.
