Emma Watson scores style hit at latest premiere

Emma Watson's style star just keeps on rising.

After becoming a regular fixture on the catwalk front rows at Paris and London, the Harry Potter actress made yet another fashion statement that showed style maturity beyond her eighteen-years, at the premiere of new movie, The Tale of Deperaux.

Wearing a midnight blue cocktail dress, with bustier detailing and a plunging scoop back, the star looked chic and classic.

Keeping accessories to a minimum, she added a pair of glittering Tiffany and Co. diamond earrings and some strappy black sandals to complete her look.

A far cry from her contemporaries - think Miley Cyrus or High School Musical's Ashley Tisdale - the teen star's style is all about understated elegance, and her love of sophisticated labels, like Chanel, is well-known.

Although she regularly appears preened to perfection, Watson told the Sunday Times Style magazine this weekend that her regime is relatively low-key.

'Spending a whole day getting ready is ridiculous,' she said, 'I hate wearing an outfit that looks too put-together and perfect. I choose the things I wear myself because I'm such an OCD control freak.'

Watson's latest role sees her take a departure from the wizarding franchise, and provide the voice for an animated princess. She was joined at the premiere by her co-stars, Matthew Broderick, Dustin Hoffman and Sigourney Weaver.
