SEE PICS: Girls Aloud TV style hits
If there was ever any doubt, Girls Aloud have officially arrived with the filming of their pre-Christmas ITV show, The Girls Aloud Party.
Once confined to the low-budget sister channel, ITV2, the five-strong girl band will reach the dizzy echelons of prime-time TV when their one-off show, which will see the girls perform a medley of hits, airs on Saturday 13 December.
Joined by the likes of James Morrison and The Kaiser Chiefs – adding to their everyone-loves-Girls-Aloud credibility – what really got us talking is the outfits!
Channelling 60s Diana Ross style, the girls added some serious Christmas sparkle in figure-hugging fishtale dresses, showing off their hour-glass physiques.

A quick costume change and the ladies took on hot pink shades, before taking on chicer ensembles in black mini prom dresses.

Set the Sky+ people, this is not to be missed!

Its so sad that the only one who is still the same size from when they started is Nicola, who is also the best singer but because she's not the prettiest one she gets the least vocal parts, the rest have conformed to the media pressure and lost so much weight they look anorexic. When they started they were good role models for girls because they were curvy and a heathy slim size but now they look ill and girls are so desperately trying to look the same that they are starving themselves. I love their outfits and songs but wish they would put some weight on so that girls have a safe, realistic goal to aim for.
