Pringle lines up It-girls for latest campaign

Daisy Lowe for Pringle

Daisy Lowe's fashion credentials just keep on rising, and now she can add yet another designer campaign to her burgeoning list of high-profile modelling roles.

Photographed alongside fellow London party girl Pixie Geldof and New York society queen Lydia Hearst, Lowe stars in the spring/summer '09 campaign for Pringle.

Shot by Steven Meisel, the Sixties-inspired shoot sees Lowe get a Barbarella-style make-over, with voluminous mussed hair and lashing of black kohl liner.

Pringle creative director, Clare Waight Keller, explained the choice of models to WWD. 'We were looking at iconic faces,' she said, 'we wanted it to feel young, vibrant and very British. Pixie Geldof had been on our radar for a little while, and then we started looking at the friends she hangs around with... I liked the feeling of reality behind that, that it's not just pulled together for an ad campaign.'

For Lowe, it's yet another sign of her fashion ascent. She's been confirmed as the new face of Marc for Marc Jacobs, following campaigns for Agent Provocatuer, Karen Millen and Diesel this season.
