First look: Claudia Schiffer for YSL

You can always rely on a supermodel to bring some serious glamour to an advertising campaign, as Claudia Schiffer so perfectly illustrates as the face of YSL's spring/summer '09 collection.

Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in front of the iconic Hollywood sign, the veteran model wows in a plunging tuxedo jacket, floor-length black skirt and slick of ruby red lipstick.

The stunning shot is the first of the campaign to be released, and will feature on the cover of YSL's must-have Manifesto newspaper, now in its fourth season, which will be distributed on Valentine's Day next year.
