Could Alexa Chung be the latest star designer at New Look?

The fashion industry is abuzz with rumours that the style star, who has raced to the top of best dressed lists this year, has been snapped up by the high street giant to design her own range of clothing.

Attending the British Fashion Awards this week, Fabsugar UK noted that Chung was seated at the New Look table. Although nothing has been confirmed as yet, New Look is no stranger to the celebrity collaboration, with Kelly Brook and Lily Allen both creating capsule collections for the brand

The move would seem a natural one for the T4 presenter, who has often spoken on her love of fashion, and designed her own range of jewellery this year for ethical label Made.

With her signature look of vintage dresses, leather satchels and biker boots likely to be an influence, let's hope the rumours are true, as we're sure the range would score a big fashion hit.
