Katie Holmes is set to embark on yet another fashion foray, as the new face of Miu Miu.

The actress, who is currently starring on Broadway, has been confirmed as the fashion house's newest face, People.com reports, and will star in its spring/summer '09 campaign.

The move is an unusual one for the star, who unlike her friend Victoria Beckham has not put her face to a brand before. Perhaps a sign of her growing interest in the fashion industry, Holmes has become a regular at catwalk shows, and has even taken to designing her own outfits for events and premieres.

She follows in the footsteps of Lindsay Lohan, Kirsten Dunst and Maggie Gyllenhaal, who have all fronted campaigns for the label
