The World Music Awards: Who wore what?
The World Music Awards brought a high dose of A-list glamour to Monte Carlo last night, but who were the evening's best dressed stars?
Beyonce proved that her edgier look is here to stay, performing in a pair of metallic leggings, gold cutaway heels and a military-style Alexander McQueen waistcoat.
When it came to picking up an award though, she played it safe, donning a demure ice-blue shift dress and turquoise heels.

It was something of a family affair for Miss Knowles as her sister Solange also took to the stage. Showing she's learnt a thing or two from her superstar sis, the singer was one of the night's most stylish attendees, looking sweet and chic in a feathered ivory Jenny Packham prom dress, and then vamped it up on stage in high-waisted studded miniskirt, little black jacket and neon patchwork court shoes.
Another US star to up the style quota was Alicia Keyes, who looked classic in a cornflower blue strapless column
dress. To perform she looked chic in a little black dress, with full
skirt and ruffle front.
Improving on her cringe-worthy X Factor style, Mariah Carey ditched the poodle hair but continued her love affair with all things clingy and short, and arrived in a tight little red dress, before quickly changing into a barely-there silver number.
In the British contingency, Sophie Ellis-Bextor hid her growing baby bump in a voluminous yellow smock dress, while Estelle scored a style miss in a bizarre metallic blue frock, although she quickly redeemed herself when she took to the stage in an amazing black dress with full netted skirt.
So who was our style winner? We have to applaud Beyonce for her continued foray into daring fashion. Bravo!
