Who wore it worst on X Factor?
Fans may have been in shock on Sunday morning following the departure of favourite Laura from the X Factor, but they won't have been quite so shocked by this week's fashion choices.
Making a stylish departure from previous weeks, the fashion hits almost outweighed the misses for once, and the style successes started with the judges.

Cheryl Cole and Dannii Mingoue both opted for strapless minidresses, and the look worked well for both glamazons. Cheryl's all-pink Matthew Williamson spring 2009 dress was super-sweet, and the perfect compliment to her petite figure, while Dannii looked chic in her metallic brocade dress.
As for the contestants, the style winner of the evening had to be Alexandra, wowing the crowds in her shimmering floor-length gold beaded gown, which made her look every inch the star.
Unfortunately it wasn't all-good. Rachel's LBD was oh-so unflattering, and the addition of a short sleeve jacket only served to emphasise this, while Ruth's plum gown could have won our approval, if it wasn't for the flamenco style slit at the front.
It may have been the least of her problems by the end of the night, but we couldn't help but think that Laura's aubergine gown looked more like a maternity frock than a style statement.
And proving that A-list credentials do not guarantee glamour, the worst look of the night has to be reserved for the show's star-guest, Mariah Carey. The poodle hair, the cheap-looking bustier dress, and the tacky gold gown - all awful, all so unstylish.

Looks like Marie Claire contributors disagree on the subject of the Xfactor dresses. The one above compares Laura's frock to a maternity outfit, while the comment to the photo calls it ultra-glamourous.:)

I don't think Alice Temperley will be happy you called her gown a maternity frock
