Juicy Couture hosts star-studded store opening
By Lucy Hutchings on Friday 7 November 2008
Juicy Couture celebrated the opening of its New York flagship store last night, and invited along a host of its celebrity friends and fans to join the fun.
The label's founders, Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, were the belles of the ball, decked out in voluminous floor-length black gowns and top hats for the occasion.
They were joined by some of Hollywood's most stylish young stars, including a high contingency from the cast of TV's Gossip Girl.
Blake Lively showed off her pins in a thigh-skimming black jumper dress, while she was careful not to be pictured with co-star and real-life beau, Penn Badgley.
His on-screen best friend, Jessica Szohr, looked stunning in a little green dress, teamed with a pair of on-trend patent ankle boots. She wasn't the only star to embrace colour: actress Emma Roberts looked radiant in lemon yellow chiffon, and Molly Sims brightened up her LBD with a ruby red coat, which matched her scarlet pout.
Keeping things more neutral, Sarah Michelle Gellar was all in black save for a blonde fur coat (fake we hope), which matched her new longer 'do and sweeping fringe.
