The supermodel has well and truly returned to dominate the fashion industry, and it looks like they are here to stay, with news that Claudia Schiffer is the new face of YSL.

Taking over from her fellow super, Naomi Campbell, Schiffer's new role proves the resurgence of the 90s supermodels is set to continue, with Schiffer starring in campaigns for Chanel and Salvatore Ferragamo this season and Linda Evangelista posing for Prada.

Schiffer confirmed to WWD this week that she will star in the YSL spring/summer '08 campaign, as well as returning to Ferragamo and shooting for Dolce & Gabbana.
