Olsens launch fashion book in style

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen stepped out in style yesterday, to launch their fashionable coffee table book, Influences.

Opting for contrasting looks, Mary-Kate donned a short black dress with floor-length fringed sleeves, while Ashley vamped it up in a figure-hugging scarlet mini dress, for the event in New York. With almost identical hair and make-up, the girls were harder to tell apart than ever.

Onto a signing at NY book store Barnes & Noble, Ashley wore an on-trend ensemble of a crisp white shirt and latex leggings, teamed wit a pair of dove grey platforms. Mary Kate chose a black buttoned up dress for the event, and sported matching shoes to her sister; only hers were in patent black.

The book is a collection of the stylish twin's influences and contains 20 profiles of their icons, including Lauren Hutton, Diane Von Furstenberg and John Galliano.

Editor Derek Blasbery described, 'The making of the book followed a simple routine: Mary-Kate and/or Ashley Olsen would pick me up and take me to a location where a scheduled interview would take place with a creative visionary.'

The book was then compiled to include images of the twins from various stages of their career, as well as picture that inspire them.
