Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have named screen veteran Lauren Hutton as the new face of their clothing collection.

The 64-year-old supermodel, who started her modelling career back in the 1970s, was picked by the twins after they interviewed her for their recently released coffee table book, Influence.

'She's just a wise woman and she's a traveller and she's obviously a style icon,' Mary-Kate told Contactmusic.com.

Ashley added, 'She's older and she's beautiful, and that is sexy to us.'

It is yet to be announced which of the Olsens' fashion lines, either The Row or Elizabeth & James, that Hutton will model for, although it is already rumoured that her collaboration with the stylish twins could see her return to the catwalk.
