Ever wondered where Alexa Chung picks out her fashion-forward looks?

Well the T4 star has revealed her top shopping spots, in a bid to support London's independent stores, and is joined by a host of the capital's most stylish residents.

Discover where photographer Rankin picks up his home wares, the bookshop where Jasmine Guinness browses, the record store where the New Young Pony Club search for inspiration or the vintage boutique where you might find Peaches Geldof perusing the rails.

For Miss Chung it is all about the fashion, and she picked out the Shop at Maison Bertaux in Soho, and Shoreditch's Start Boutique as her personal favourites.

Start was a firm favourite amongst the stylish line-up and marie claire's very own editor-in-chief, Marie O’Riordan also noted it in her top six stores. Jewellery Haven Kabiri in Marylebone, Clapham's Moen Butchers, fashion book store RD Franks, Trinity Stores in Wandsworth and Scobies in Dulwich Village completed her list of London's best.
