Are you one of the million women who rushed out and bought the Sex and the City DVD this week? Well, we have just the designer wardrobe to match your movie of choice.

On the runway yesterday at Paris Fashion Week, Christian Lacroix delivered a collection designed to appeal to everyone's inner Carrie. Awash with those oversized corsages that became just one of the film's signature sartorial statements, along with floral-print minidresses, loose-fitting white trousers (another SATC movie must-wear) and some seriously sweet ribbon-embellished stilettos - worn with gold charm ankle bracelets - the collection was fun, quirky and just perfect SJP wannabes.

Also chasing the Carrie pound, so to speak, was Emanuel Ungaro designer Esteban Cortazar whose collection of flirty cocktail dresses and silky jumpsuits, all painted with azure watercolour blues or splashy bright florals, looked just the thing for a sizzling hot evening in New York, or better still, Miami.

Maybe they can base the sequel there?
