The launch is part of Marie Claire's 20th anniversary celebrations, which have also included the recent launch of the Marie Claire Beauty Academy, Marie Claire Makeovers and MC TV.

my-wardrobe.com CEO Sarah Curran says: 'So, Marie Claire is now 20 years old. And, like most of us, she's looking even better now than she did then. I would say that I wasn't at my best aged 15, something even my mother would agree with, thanks to the usual teenage charm, but at least I'd gone past poodle-perm stage - that was particularly ugly.

'Anyway... I have really strong memories of Marie Claire in my teens. I was already aware of its existence thanks to my older French cousin Anne, who would let me read through her collection. She was very patient with her Anglo-French family member, who would descend on Nice for summer and, thanks to very strong puberty blues, caused chaos and drama at every occasion. I was high maintenance, even back then. I really remember the impact Marie Claire had on me: I was strangely proud of it being French, and I think it was probably the first time I welcomed being different from my very English girlfriends, at my very English school.

'So, here's to MC, who changed and influenced many a young girl's life, and long may she continue to do so! Now, where's that champagne? All this talk of my teenage years and puberty blues has left me needing a drink!'
