Ugly Betty star hits red carpet
When America Ferrera and Blake Lively starred together in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants they were virtually unknowns. Now the girls are two of the hottest stars on US TV, making the sequel premiere last night a suitably glamorous affair.
Both actresses wowed in vibrant brights, with America donning a strapless jewel blue gown and Blake in a voluminous tangerine maxi dress.

The stars of their respective TV shows turned out to show their support, making the red carpet a veritable who's who of US TV.
From Ugly Betty, Ferrera's onscreen family, little brother Mark Indelicato and big sister Ana Ortiz were there, as was on-screen nemesis, Becki Newton.
Newton, who has become one of our fashion favourites of late, looked casually stylish in a silver waistcoat, skinny black trousers and a bright purple clutch.
From Lively's Gossip Girl, co-stars, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick and Matthew Settle were all in attendance, although Blake's on-screen and off-screen beau, Penn Badgley was a notable absentee.
Leighton Meester, who plays best friend Blair to Lively's Serena, was one of the night's most stylish attendees, in a classic little black dress and strappy sandals.
