Wannabe Manolo Blahniks wanted
Do you fancy yourself as the next Rupert Sanderson? Or perhaps the next Manolo Blahnik or Jimmy Choo? We've got just the competition for you.
Fashion Fringe, the celebrated designer contest, is this year running a special competition for shoe designers, offering one talented designer the chance to work alongside Rupert Sanderson and to have their own shoe line go into production.
Designer who wish to enter should log onto www.fashionfringe.co.uk for full details. However, don't hang around, the closing date for all entries is 13 June.
Successful applicants will then be invited to an interview later in June where a judging panel, chaired by Manolo Blahnik, will choose the lucky winner.

I love shoes and I love colours. I know what shoes or what dress goes with what or for when.
I remember when I was a little girl, and I was on the bus with my mum, I saw a pair of shoes. At that time everybody use to have one or maximum two pair of shows, and my mother said I don't need another pair. So I didn't forget about them. Next season I didn't forget about them and begged my mum to buy me them.We went to all the shoe shops and I can tell you it was about 30-40 shops and what do you think at the end I've got it. I ware them so much and loved them so much. They were in pretty bad shape when I've finished with them. But I never forget them and if you tell me how they looked like or what color I know it.
I don't think my passion for shoes has changed but good shoes are so expensive now that I try to look good with less money.
To be honest I don't think I have to have everything but I even enjoy looking at a nice pair of shoes maybe as much as enjoy having them. But to be able to design or to work and have the pleasure of being next to a shoe designer is as good as have a designer shoe.
Lots of love
