Leona Lewis to launch vegan fashion label

Having already conquered both the British and US music markets, could Leona Lewis now be setting her sights on the fashion world?



Hello Magazine reports this week that the X-Factor alumni is set to launch a vegan fashion line, to help raise awareness for the ethical treatment of animals.



Lewis is a strict vegetarian, and refuses to wear any leather products or diamonds.



A source tells the magazine, 'She’s always adored animals since she was a little girl and has been a vegetarian since the age of 12.



'The reason she doesn’t wear diamonds is because she doesn’t know how they have been sourced. It was for this reason that she is determined to set up her own ethical fashion range and sell the goods at high street prices.'
