Victoria Beckham carrying Miu Miu

Victoria Beckham has a new favourite designer handbag; the harlequin bag from Miu Miu.

The stunning style from the Miu Miu spring/summer 2008 collection features a patchwork-braided body, in varying shades of oyster and blue, and a plaited leather strap.

Posh has been spotted out and about with the bag, pictured here keeping it casual in LA, in a scoop neck jumper and flared jeans.

She joins a long list of celebrity fans of the brand, which include Kirsten Dunst, Mischa Barton and Chloë Sevigny.

...but what on earth do you put in it? Is it full of padding?! Can't imagine Vic Beck with the amount of stuff that I carry in my - somewhat smaller - bag.....

This is how you cheapen the value of a brand - get a photo of Victoria Beckham and the most people will turn away from it. Such a bad role model and since when has she ever been a style icon?

I disagree. Maybe some want to believe Victoria Beckham "POSH" will sway people from buying things she wears, et cetera, but the truth is, there are many "POSH-wanna-beees" out there or just simple admirers (most women figure if she got that husband, she's doing something right!) who would buy, say, a handbag she's carrying around - that's if they can afford it! IF NOT, other stars will follow - even stars copy stars, and have their idols. Now, I know you and others want to believe these people Cheapen the "value of" but. . . Ah, they get paid lots of money then to do so too - Someone besides me disagrees with the Victoria Beckham degrades! ;-p Enjoy life - it's short - who really cares!
