Could Katie Holmes be the latest star to turn fashion designer?



Although initially denied by the actress's reps, rumours persist that Mrs Cruise is designing a range in collaboration with Giorgio Armani. Speaking to OK! Magazine, a snitch revealed, 'Right now this is Katie’s life. She is extremely excited about it.



The insider adds, 'The Katie Holmes for Armani collection will be comparable in price to the Armani ready-to-wear line. It will be sold in stores like Saks, Barneys New York and Neiman Marcus. We’re talking very upscale: less expensive than Armani Privé but more than Armani Exchange. These are going to be very high-quality clothes.'



Armani is a long time friend of the Cruise's, often dressing them for public events and premieres, and designed both the bride and groom's outfits for the couple's 2006 wedding.
