Guess launches eco range

Guess Green tank top

Guess Jeans is the latest fashion brand to go eco, with the announcement that they will launch an organic collection this April.

The line entitled Guess Green will comprise of a pair of men's and women's bootcut jeans, a T-shirt and a tank top, all made from organic cotton. Eco-logos adorn both tops, with the T-shirt reading 'live consciously,' and the tank depicting the earth and peace sign.

The range is set to go on sale this month in the US, and on the Guess website. 10% of all profits will be donated to the Environmental Media Association, an LA charity which promotes environmental awareness.

Paul Marciano, Guess' chief executive officer and co-chairman commented on the range, 'In order to protect the long-term health of the planet, while encouraging more environmental responsibility throughout the industry, we are minimising our own impact and continuing to offer trend-setting styles.'
