H&M's all-star design team
H&M has persuaded a host of stars, including Rihanna, Timbaland, Jade Jagger and Katharine Hamnett, to design pieces for a special Fashion against Aids clothing collection.
Due to launch in stores next Feburary, 25% of proceeds from the collection will go to worldwide Aids and HIV prevention projects.
'It's a collection that's rich in colour, with considerable commitment going into every garment. The artists have created personal prints with a strong sense of style,' said H&M's head of design, Margareta van den Bosch, in an official statement.
Rihanna adds: 'I love that H&M is providing a fashionable and easy way for young people all over the world to get involved in this worthy cause.'
Prices for the collection range from just £7.99 to £19.99, with all the stars-turned-designers having agreed to contribute their time and artistic flair for free.

It doesn't matter who is doing the designs, some of us don't have the time or opportunity to get to H & M and the only way we can buy the designer items we want is from e-bay at exhorbitant prices. When can the rest of us get a chance to buy from the store?

You don't mention that this collection is an initiative of 'Designers against AIDS' -their own colllection was already sold at Dover Street market in London, but of course via H&M worldwide they'll reach a lot more young people. Hopefully some of them will indeed 'Stop and Think', what with HIV infections rising everywhere again, also in the rich countries!

This article is soooo true. Im a lover of oversized bags, cant live without them. I think small bags just look so dumb. However I think , as a matter a fact I know that they contain alot of "JUNK". I just pile a whole bunch of stuff in my bag for no reason. Right now im in thearapy for my back and shoulder. But thats not gonna stop me from carrying my oversized bags (LOL). What i've started to do is carry less stuff.
