Oasis to sell homewares

High street fashion favourite Oasis is set to branch out into homewares for 2008. The Oasis Escape home range will join existing sub brands at Oasis that include Odille lingerie and New Vintage, a clothing range influenced by vintage pieces. There will also be further expansion, with growing ranges of shoes, accessories and jewellery.



Speaking to WGSN, Oasis creative director Nadia Jones commented: 'Oasis Escape is for all the time you want to relax wherever you might be - home or abroad. The introduction of home and lifestyle products feels right for the brand as we are in expansion mode for next year.'



The Escape range is set to include cushions, carpets, mats and even a range of colourful hammocks. There will also be travel pieces, such as printed bags and luggage.



Look out for the range, which will hit stores in February 2008.

OMG yet another store selling more home 'tat'
The quality will probably be awful and falls apart at the drop of a hat! I'm looking forward to actually seeing what this stuff is like. It is bound to just be overpriced tat!! Though I will reserve judgement until I can see it in the 'flesh'.. If it isn't that bad then I apologise in advance, but mark my words.. Bound to be overpriced tat

Oasis is very good quality but also pricey. I'm assuming the same for its homeware. I guess you get what you pay for.
