Kirsten Dunst is new face of Miu Miu

KIRSTEN DUNST HAS been named as the new face of the fashion label Miu Miu.



Miuccia Prada - known to use the marketing power of female celebrities to promote her brand - signed up the Hollywood A-lister for the label's spring/summer 2008 campaign.



The Spiderman and Marie Antoinette star will replace sulty French model and actress Laeticia Casta for next season's adverts, for which she was photographed in Los Angeles by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott last week.



The brand hopes her stardom will help boost its popularity as it expands in America next year. Miu Miu is to open boutiques on 57th Street in New York and Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles early next year.
