Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief catwalk show

Marie Claire Fashion news: Fashion for relief

Last night saw London Fashion Week's finale with a glamorous closing show organised by Naomi Campbell.

The Fashion For Relief charity show was organised by the model after she saw the devastating effects of the UK floods in July.

Naomi called on all her famous fashion friends to help make the event a show to remember. But it was Princess Beatrice and her mother the Duchess of York who stole the show as they made their catwalk debuts at the Natural History Museum.

The mother and daughter duo both wore Dolce & Gabbana black dresses and nearly £8 million worth of Garrard jewellery.

The 19-year-old princess said: 'I've never done anything like this in my life. My boyfriend is going to be watching but I'm walking down there with my mother which makes me feel a lot better. And it's all for charity.'

The show was in aid of the Rotary Flood and Disaster and pulled in an A-list crowd, including front row spectators Kate Moss and Claudia Schiffer. Naomi also used her considerable fashion clout to gather a starry catwalk contingent including Jessica Stam, Lily Cole, Erin O'Connor, Rio Ferdinand and Elle Macpherson.
