It's a who wore it best three-way - as a trio of starlets get matching in McQueen

In a style hat trick, Alexander McQueen's printed maxi scored its third starlet spot last night, making today's who wore it best a fashionista three-way.

First off the mark was small screen star Patsy Kensit, who donned the frock for the TV Choice awards back in September.

Letting her dress do the talking, she wisely opted for a bare neckline, but what she lacked in accessories, she made up for with lashings of fake tan.

Two months later and the dress was back again, on Bond beauty Eva Green at The British Independent Film Awards. Like Ms Kensit, the extras were minimal, and she left her locks loose and curly.

Last, but by no means least, Joely Richardson gave the dress its first outing to the other side of the pond, at the New York amfAR Gala.

Like her fellow McQueen mavens, accessories weren't an issue, save for a delicate bracelet, while fresh-faced make-up and a chic side-swept 'do added an elegant aspect to her styling.

So now it's decision time: does Patsy pip her opponents to the post, does Eva's brooding take win the fashion race, or is Joely's most recent incarnation the style queen? Let is know your verdict in the comments box below.
