Lady Gaga and Christina Ricci played a game of style snap when they stepped out in the same Marc Jacobs dress. But, who wore it best?

Christina Ricci gave this sheer Marc Jacobs creation it's red carpet debut back in December, when she wore it to the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDs event in Dubai.

The actress went classic with her approach to accessorising the Spring/Summer 2010 gown - teaming it with her blunt fringe, elegant droplet earrings and a ruby red pout.

Then - she's usually the one pioneering trends, rather than following them - but Lady Gaga was second in line to don the dress, which she wore for an appearance on US TV show Good Morning America earlier this week.

In typical Gaga style, she songstress made it her own, and rocked her frock with a dark green sargeant's cap, circular sunnies and bright flouro pink lips.
