Whether it's tennis whites or billowing boho dresses, prepare to look white hot this summer!

Fresh, clean whites for summer might not be groundbreaking news, but this season, get ready to wear them from head to toe. From sheer, satin delights at Antonio Berardi and Prabal to tennis-fresh looks at Akris and cricket combinations at Preen, the catwalks have been given the Daz treatment and are indulging us in beautiful waves of all-white. Whether you decide to take on its athletic side or go wistful in prairie-chic separates, prepare to look white hot this summer.

Weekend White-Out

Nothing quite says off-duty like denim, so take advantage and use its

relaxed credentials to downspin a smart outfit and make it work for the

weekend. A white denim jacket with a boxy fit (like this one from J Brand)

will play down even delicate chiffon, meaning your weekend look can go

from brunch to bar as easily as you can (just maybe avoid the red wine).

This textured skirt from Emma Cook

comes in jacket form too, which will look perfect paired with

ankle-grazing white skinny jeans. For a sporty take, choose a pleated

skirt or wide-leg trouser and team with box-fresh white plimsole.

Workwear Whites

Can’t wait until summer to wear the trend? Luckily spring still has some

tailoring up its sleeve and stark-white phobes will be pleased to learn

that muted tones and nude all count too. Chances are you’ve already got

oatmeal or off-white knits in your existing wardrobe, which makes this

already low-maintenance look even easier to put together. Simply pop out

and purchase a chic midi skirt (we’ve spied similar at Zara and Tibi)

and you're good to go. Flatforms and a cuddle clutch spells Scandi

blogger cool, or go the Palermo way and wear tonal heels and a metallic

clutch.

Take On Texture

If the idea of a full white-out feels a little clinical, then adding

pattern and texture is a good way to soften the look. This season Navajo

details appear white-on-white and laser-cut finishes are favoring blanc

de blanc too. Escape the easy route (because we can all slip on a LWD)

and team mismatched fabrics together. We love this runway look from

Isabel Marant, but if this isn’t on-budget, Whistles

has a more purse-friendly take on these incredible trousers. Look to

H&M and Mes Demoiselles for similar tops and you’re set. Natural

nails, tanned toes and sun-kissed hair will polish off the look.
