Answering all the important questions like 'When is London Fashion Week' and 'What's even happening?'

London Fashion Week is fast approaching and, before we know it, we’ll have a whole load of brand new information and shiny new trends to get our heads around.

We still can’t get our heads around the fact that we’ll be previewing the spring 2016 collections (guys, we haven’t even had our summer holidays yet) but, as the machine-like fashion industry is waiting for no one, we’re swotting up and compiling our cheat sheet now.

Here’s your need to know...

When Is London Fashion Week? The dates for your diary are Friday 18th to Tuesday 22nd September, a full 5 days of action between the New York and Milan shows (running 10th-17 September and 23rd-29th September respectively). Fashion Month finishes up in Paris from 30th September to 8th October.

The New Location The fash pack will descend on a brand new LFW hub for SS16 – Soho’s Brewer Street Car Park. Ironically, the first ever London venue was Olympia, which all the 80s designers complained was like a car park, so this, people, marks a full trend circle where underground venues are officially in.

The Rising Labels To Watch On schedule, we’re tipping Molly Goddard and Ryan Lo. In the exhibition spaces, there are even more budding brands to discover – we predict we’ll see Rein’s beautiful latticeworks on the main stage in a season or two.

The Italian Invasion For the first time ever, Versace’s sister label VERSUS will show on the official London Fashion Week schedule. Donatella and guest creative director Anthony Vaccarello are not likely to take the town quietly…

The Comeback Mulberry’s former creative director, Emma Hill, is launching her own accessories label, Hill & Friends, and we are pretty damn excited. The inventor of styles from the Alexa to the Del Rey, anything she touches is bound to be pure IT bag gold.
