Victoria Beckham loses £350k dress collection in shocking hijack
Victoria Beckham has been left devastated, after £350,000 worth of dresses from her eponymous fashion collection were stolen in a knife-point raid.
In what has been described as a carefully-planned attack, fifty to seventy-five spring/summer pieces were taken from a delivery van, where they were en route to New York department store, Neiman Marcus.
Two thieves followed the van, which started its journey at the star’s management office in West London, and was headed for Heathrow.
When the driver stopped to make another delivery, he returned to the vehicle to find the padlocks smashed, and the two men burst from the back of the van with two huge boxes of dresses in tow.
The driver was left bruised and shaken, after the thieves forced him to the ground during the attack.
A source revealed to The Mirror: ‘This operation was meticulously planned. The thieves must feel they can make a fortune selling the collection on the black market.’
The former Spice Girl is reportedly hoping that the order can be remade in time to hit shop floors, but was left hugely upset by the robbery.
With an impressive A-list fan base – including the likes of Blake Lively, Elle Macpherson and Dannii Minogue – Posh’s dresses have become incredibly covetable and the collection has cemented her status as a respected fashionista.
