Time To Get Excited For New York Fashion Week AW14

See the shows, the stars and the must-see action from New York Fashion Week AW14. The fun starts here...

Fashion pack, rejoice! The Autumn Winter 2014 shows are kicking off in New York, with Marc Jacobs, J.Crew, Jenny Packham and Zac Posen among the designers set to show.

Judging by the pinch-me moments set to come out of New York, is it any wonder the stylish city has just been named Global Fashion Capital?

Here’s why we’re mostly excited for all things NYFW…

Fresh from his departure from Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs will send his latest eponymous collection down the catwalk on Thursday 13.

But with Luella and Katie Hillier now at the helm of the American designer’s umbrella label, the Marc by Marc Jacobs collection is set to dominate catwalk proceedings on Tuesday 11. We can’t wait.

Meanwhile fellow Brit Stuart Vevers (ex Mulberry and Loewe), will unveil his new vision for Coach in the buzzing city.

There’s no forgetting Victoria Beckham’s presence at the New York shows either, with the designer showing on two days on the prestigious schedule.

J.Crew will also be back in action in New York, bridging the schedule between Hervé Léger by Max Mara, Zac Posen, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein.

Then there’s the star-studded front row to look out for, with Alexa Chung, Jessica Alba, Diane Lruger and Olivia Palermo set to glam-up for NYFW. Something tells us new SS14 face, Miley Cyrus will have also bagged a golden ticket to Marc Jacobs’ must-see show. But what will she wear?

Maire Claire’s fashion team will be out in force at the shows, keep an eye on our official Twitter and Instagram for the latest front row and backstage action.

Don’t miss Marie Claire’s Fashion Features Director, Victoria Moss, reveal the 8 things everyone will be talking about at fashion week AW14.
