Because we all know how much the fashion pack loves a throwback trend...

We all know how much the fashion pack loves a throwback trend. And as AW15 kicks in, we’ll be getting our fix with Vince Camuto’s new Modern Retro collection.

Split into two trend themes, 60s Chic and 70s Dreaming, Vince Camuto’s team-with-anything designs pay homage to two of fashion’s greatest decades – but with a new season twist, of course.

We’re currently obsessed with all things 70s and accessories seem like the easiest way to inject the tricky trend into our existing wardrobes. As ever with a 70s-tinged collection, textiles are everything. With glazed metallics to supple suedes, it’s the details and fabrics that really make these trend pieces pop.

From their Lorim glossy snake platforms to the fringe-tastic Harlin suede boots, the new Vince Camuto collection has a 70s shoe to suit every occasion. We’ll be teaming our disco platforms with one of their delicate Leila shoulder bags (available in khaki or wine red) or the Essy soft leather clutch once the party season fully kicks in.

In the wider AW15 range, Vince Camuto has got all of our winter shoe essentials covered – think perfect ankle boots, sharp courts in Mod-ready patent, and knee high options with gorgeous gold hardware.

Our hero piece is the Leila printed tote, which, with tan leather handles and distorted snake motifs, is a masterclass in statement design, whilst being roomy, weatherproof and totally practical. What more could a girl ask for?
