The starlets really upped the style stakes for the New York premiere of musical movie Nine. See all the fab frocks here!
The red carpet was awash with the most gorgeous of gowns as the stars donned their glad-rags for the New York premiere of Nine.
Madge, Nicole, Kate, Pen, Marion… The A-list attendance at the New York premiere of Nine was endless.
And, not only was this one of the starriest premieres we’ve seen of late, but we didn’t know where to look for the sea of fabulous frocks on display, as everyone really upped their efforts in the style stakes.
Penelope Cruz looked drop-dead-gorgeous in a liquid satin gown, which had draped detailing across the front – and was in a supremely festive shade of red. Glittering Chopard jewels, old-Hollywood curls and black Sergio Rossi platforms completed the look.
Her musical movie co-star, Marion Cotillard, looked equally elegant, in a strapless column gown with long Chopard necklaces. Having been absent at the previous premieres, we were pleased to finally see Marion walking the red carpet with her fellow Nine stars.
Having been spotted in some nice-but-not-wow ensembles at the previous prems, Nicole Kidman went for something slightly more dramatic in the form of her appliqué puff-ball Prada dress – while the usually figure-flaunting Fergie had us suitably impressed in a sleek one-shoulder Marchesa gown.
The premiere was also turned into something of a family affair, with the appearance of some mother-daughter pairings.
Madonna was another megastar attendee who arrived to see the screening, and brought her daughter Lourdes along for the ride.
While Madge styled up her D&G corseted cocktail dress with black elbow-length gloves, Lourdes – who is looking increasingly like her mother every day – rocked up her lace-covered Dolce & Gabbana frock with chunky boots.
Phew! We do love a good fashion fest.
