Rihanna covers Italian Vogue, in raciest shoot yet

Rihanna has stripped off for her raciest shoot to date, but it's all in the name of high fashion. Covering the annual Italian Vogue couture supplement, the pop princess looks almost unrecognisable in the shoot by legendary fashion photographer Steven Klein

Striking a fierce pose in a structural Valentino gown, the pop princess takes the cover spot, clad in the feathered design and patent knee-high boots, throwing a bucket of water.

But the cover is reasonably demure in contrast to the images inside. Posing in teeny-tiny pants, and nothing but a smattering of glitter covering her modesty, the singer strips down to pose topless.

And the various stages of undress only continue throughout the shoot. In another shot, she's shown in a sharp-shouldered trophy jacket, teamed with nothing but lace knickers and suspenders, and lace-back boots.

Not just about the fashion, Rihanna's statuesque hair features prominently, teased into gravity-defying quiffs and cones, while dramatic make-up includes heavy cat's eyeliner and rich berry lips.

Perhaps not new season style we should all be running out to emulate, but you can't deny, the girl looks good!
