Princess Charlotte is already obsessed with fashion and has all the sass

When your mum is Kate Middleton and has a collection of dresses to make everyone green with envy - and manages to mix high-street and designer dresses with aplomb (see the £40 Zara dress she wore to the polo, and the Royal wedding McQueen dress she DIDN'T recycle) - it's pretty much a given that you'll be into fashion.

And at just three years old, it looks like Princess Charlotte is already following in her mum's sartorial footsteps, according to Prince William anyway.

The Duke of Cambridge, who was visiting craftspeople in Liverpool yesterday for the International Business Festival, an was given a gorgeous present for his children by the Leather Satchel Company.

They consisted of three adorable mini satchels, personalised with their names: Louis, George and Charlotte.

As you can imagine, Charlotte's was pink (the Duchess of Cambridge recently revealed this was her favourite colour), and the Prince immediately said she'd love it - and FYI it's still available to buy.

He told the designers, 'Charlotte will be obsessed with that—I'll never be able to get it off her'.

We love the fact Charlotte's already obsessed with her accessories!

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
