Now that the sun is shining, it's time to get your hands on this season's 'lust-have'

A peasant blouse is THE must-have for SS15 and we can't wait to get our hands on one. Despite what you may have thought from past seasons, they aren't just a top for sandy days spent on the beach. As designers Etro and Emilio Pucci lead the way on the SS15 runway, we learnt that they were about to be our summer staple for all occasions. And it's not just the designers that are doing it; that's right, ladies, they have just landed in all our fave high-street stores too. See how we're going about nailing this season's hottest key piece...

For Everyday Casual

We're styling ours with jeans. This season is awash with denim and if you're anything like us, you'll be knee-deep in the blue frayed edges already (note to self: must. stop. buying. denim!) Opt for a simple oversized fuss-free peasant blouse, such as this one we love from Free People. Our key top tip for this style is to chose a boyfriend-fit jean with a frayed edge and team with a slider or white trainer. This style blouse is perfect for your day look as it's light and billowy meaning you'll be super-comfy as well for all the errands you miraculously plan on tackling day-to-day; while looking bang on-trend. We know, it's a hard life being utterly fabulous.

Your Holiday Wardrobe Essential

If you invest in only one new beach cover-up this summer for your vacation, make sure it's a peasant blouse. We love them for their oversized floaty comfort when worn over swimwear plus they'll give you protection from the sun when you need it. We're obsessed with this cutout, tasselled number from Next, which looks super-cute with our printed bikini bottoms. Team with a denim short and straw hat to take your look through to your beach hut lunch date. Très chic.

Take It To The Club

It's time to party party, but not without a bit of hippy sass to our look. Don't make the mistake of thinking peasant blouses are just for the day; go all out with colour and embellishment for an evening look that will rock. We were drooling over this Emilio Pucci off-the-shoulder blouse we caught backstage at its SS15 catwalk show, teamed perfectly with a tailored short. Wear with a chunky wooden heel and gold bangles to channel a true 70s look and be a total head-turner.

Ready. Set. Festival!

We can't fail to mention your festival look, which has peasant blouse written all over it. For this look, more is more. As we all know when it comes to festival dressing it's all about the over-accessorising. Choose a blouse that embodies a navajo style such as this gorgeous monochrome Talitha version, so that you immediately look busy in terms of print. Wear with a cut-off denim short and some heavy-duty black biker boots to toughen your look. Choose tribal-inspired jewellery and layer it accordingly. We're really into dark beads and metals this season, and already have an eye on some of the amazing pieces Urban Outfitters has in store. To finish your carefree (but in-fact VERY considered) look, we're opting for a straw trilby and tassel shoulder bag.

Go Glam For The Night

It's time take the mature route and go glam for an evening look that will smoulder. Sheer, luxe fabrics are key here; as are dark colours such as this long-sleeved pleated blouse by Chloé. We're opting for sheer silks that are minimal in print and embellishment, yet still amazing in shape. If Chloé is a bit out of your budget, Zara also has some amazing styles with lace inserts that we are lusting over. Wear with a maxi chic skirt if you are going for a flat shoe, or if you're upping your game with some killer heels, black leather trousers will set your look (MILES) apart from the rest.
