Naomi Campbell shrugs off court ruling and hits the catwalk
Naomi Campbell might have been in court last week, but this weekend she was back doing what she does best: stalking the catwalk.
The model, who was sentenced to 200 hours of community service at the Uxbridge Magistrates Court in London on Friday, made a star appearance on the runway for Dolce & Gabbana the following day as part of the design duo’s menswear show.
Wearing just a skimpy pair of satin pyjama shorts, a bra and dressing gown, Naomi looked, for all the world, like a woman in control.
‘We were on the phone the other day. She said was coming to Milan. So we asked her if she wanted to walk and she said yes,’ Domenico Dolce told reporters.
Mind you, not everyone was impressed by Naomi’s composure as us. Actor Gerard Butler had to be told by Anna Wintour who she was. His response? ‘Oh wow, really?’
As for the outburst which landed her in court in the first place, a spokeswoman for the model said: ‘The situation is unfortunate, but, of course, Naomi will execute her community service.’
