Swedish designers are finally getting the attention they deserve, and this London Fashion Week you'll get the chance to see some of their exciting projects for yourself...

London Fashion Week will see another exciting project launch this weekend, with the Re Present Swedish Fashion Collective opening to the public.

The three-day exhibition and showroom will showcase 11 designers' SS14 collections, aiming to raise the profile of each brand and show style editors, bloggers and fashion fans everywhere that Swedish fashion IS seriously cool.

Much like the French, Scandinavian style has a distinctive, minimalist, casual chic feel to it – oh-so covetable and yet difficult to imitate. So it's no wonder that Re Present's Swedish Fashion Collective has got everyone talking about which new nordic labels to invest in.

The showroom will be situated inside the beautiful Institute of Contemporary Arts, London, well-known for its presentation of important debut solo shows by artists including Damien Hirst, Juergen Teller and Hannah Sawtell. You can visit from 15 - 17 September between 10am and 8pm.

We're especially excited about checking out Altewaisaome – award-winning designers Natalia Altewai and Randa Soame's minimalistic label, plus BACK by Ann-Sofie Back – the stunning diffusion line which is breaking the conventions of fashion. Plus, don't miss Maska's knitwear, Dagmar's sophisticated pieces and Cornelia Webb's beautiful jewellery designs.

You'll be asking yourself why you never noticed them before. See you there.

Swedish fashion just got cool - and here's why
