Keith Richards for Louis Vuitton
Rolling Stone Keith Richards the new face of Louis Vuitton
Rolling Stone Keith Richards the new face of Louis Vuitton
Rolling Stones star Keith Richards is the latest face of Louis Vuitton.
Richards joins a growing list of unusual faces, such as Mikhail Gorbachev and Andre Agassi, who have posed for the Vuitton 'core values' campaign, which celebrates the brand's travel heritage and monogrammed luggage.
Antoine Arnault, Vuitton's head of communication, commented, 'We thought it was important to continue with someone unexpected. I think when people are flipping through a magazine, this will stop them. The good thing about Keith is, he's big just about everywhere. He speaks to the 20-year-old who's into rock 'n' roll and the 65-year-olds who went to (a Rolling Stones) concert when they were 20.'
Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz shot the images, which show Richards perched on a bed with his guitar.
