The supermodel hit the runway at Paris Fashion Week for the Louis Vuitton autumn/winter 2013 show

Kate Moss made a return to the catwalk this morning to star in Louis Vuitton's autumn/winter 2013 show at Paris Fashion Week.

The British model emerged on the runway towards the end of the luxury French label's show sporting a brunette wig and wearing a sheer floral embroidered dress with nothing else but a pair of grey briefs and blue peep-toe heels.

With echoes, perhaps, of Louis Vuitton's autumn/winter 2011 collection, which featured models entering the showspace via hotel-style lifts, today's show also paid homage to hotels with the models strutting along a corridor of room doors in boudoir-style ensembles. Even Louis Vuitton's Creative Director, Marc Jacobs, took his bow at the finale wearing floral print pyjamas and sandals.

Kate is a close friend of the New York-based designer, who has coaxed her out of catwalk retirement several times in recent seasons. The last time we saw her on the runway for Louis Vuitton was in October 2011 for the spring/summer 2012 show where she sat on a horse on a carousel wearing a white feathered dress and courts.

In contrast, the season before that she made her first catwalk appearance for years for the label's fetish-inspired linewearing black hotpants, a fur-trimmed leather jacket, kinky lace-up boots and smoking a signature cigarette.
