Kate Moss is the new face of Stuart Weitzman

The British supermodel has bagged the spring/summer 2013 ad campaign for the footwear firm

Kate Moss is the new face of shoe label Stuart Weitzman, and we can bring you the first look at her debut campaign ads for the brand.

The images, shot by acclaimed photographer Mario Testino who recommended her for the job, show the British supe in a series of sexy poses all captured in arty black and white. In one, Kate is seen sitting on a stool wearing an unbuttoned white shirt, black high-waisted knickers and a pair of shimmering silver courts, while in another, she’s snapped sitting cross-legged wearing a black top and white flat sandals. A further two shots have been released, with Kate wearing highlights from the spring/summer 2013 collection.

Kate said of the ads: ‘I had a great time shooting the Stuart Weitzman campaign and I’m so happy to be face of the brand this season. Working with Mario Testino is always fun and it was wonderful meeting Stuart on set.’

The new campaign marks the first time that the model and style icon has fronted adverts for an American shoe designer. As well as the print and billboard advertising, a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot will launch on the Stuart Weitzman website in the spring.

Kate replaces Russian model Natalia Vodianova as the face of the brand, who steps down as the label’s poster girl after two seasons.
