It was soooo fabulous, sweetie darling

There were so many great moments at last night's British Fashion Awards - but our absolute favourite has to be the fact that Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders turned up on the red carpet as Ab Fab's Patsy and Eddy - complete with huge champagne glasses and fabulous outfits.

At the event at the London Coliseum, Joanna wore an attention-grabbing red lace dress and giant diamond necklace, while Jennifer opted for a similarly gargantuan feathered hat.

The pair refused to let go of their brimming champagne glasses all night, and even took to the stage to present Stella McCartney with the Best Brand Award.

'I am in my spiritual home - shout out to all my homies,' Joanna said. 'The winner has literally come from nowhere. She's been making bags out of the pubic hair of wheatgrass for years... it's Stella McCartney!'

As well as Stella's award, a number of other huge British fashion brands won awards presented by big names. Burberry won Best Creative Campaign, and were presented their award by Noami Campbell, while Erdem's award for Best Establishment Designer was presented by Alexa Chung, and Orlando Bloom presented J.W. Anderson with the award for Best Menswear Designer.

The other awards were...

For us, Eddy and Patsy stole the show.
