The actress walked down the aisle in a Giambattista Valli bridal gown to marry Justin Timberlake
When news broke of Jessica Biel’s hush-hush wedding to Justin Timberlake in Italy this weekend, the first thing we wanted to know was: what she did she wear? Well, now we know.
The Hollywood actress walked down the aisle in a non-traditional white bridal dress with touches of pink designed by Giambattista Valli. It’s understood that the Roman designer also created the gowns for the bridesmaids and Jessica’s mother, while the groom looked dashing in a sharp Tom Ford suit.
Once the happy couple had swapped vows, Jessica is believed to have changed into a less formal dress to celebrate with her guests at the reception, according to stylist Bobbie Thomas’ blog.
Jessica has long been friends with Giambattista, so it seems a naturally choice for him to design the dress for her big day. The actress was most recently spotted in one of his creations at the London premiere of Total Recall, where she wore a dazzling white lace tuxedo shirt and a feathered floral appliqué pencil skirt from his couture line.
The star also accompanied the designer to the The Luminaries’ 28th Annual Night Of Stars event in New York in 2011, and is reguarly spotted wearing his designs on the red carpet and on the front row of his fashion week shows in Paris.
Jessica and Justin, who got engaged in December last year, tied the knot in front of 150 family members and friends this weekend in Puglia, Southern Italy. Aside from the dress details, the week-long celebrations are believed to have started with a firework display and party on the beach on Wednesday, followed by a relaxed outdoor cocktail reception the following day before the official ceremony took place.
Now, all we need are some pictures of the dress. Go on Jessica, let us see!
