First pics! Sex and the City 2 starts filming

Carrie's back! Sarah Jessica Parker spotted filming SATC 2

Ladies, it's the day we've all been waiting for: Sarah Jessica Parker is back as our favourite on-screen fashionista, Carrie Bradshaw, and the first pics are in!

Filming has kicked off for the eagerly anticipated Sex and the City movie sequel, and SJP's already on location in New York, and the fashion spots are coming thick and fast.

First up, she slipped those well-heeled tootsies into a pair of glittering Christian Louboutin Pigalle heels, teamed with a white Halston heritage dress, and a gold Chanel clutch.

We guess the recession hasn't affected the label-loving Ms Bradshaw!

Next up, it was quick change into a royal blue summer dress, orange framed sunnies and more Louboutins, this time two-tone T-bars.

Also, the signature Carrie name necklace was ditched for a gold four leaf clover. Expect similar gems to be flocking to a high street store near you, very soon.

Lastly, in a look that we can only described as Flashdance chic, filming took on an Eighties flashback, believed to be scenes showing a young Carrie first arriving in the Big Apple.

For her retro moment, SJP sported a frizzy head of curls, off-the-shoulder sweatshirt, cropped white capris and trainers. A sign of the fashion icon to come was already there though – check out the co-ordinating leather luggage!

Also spotted on set was Mr Big himself, Chris Noth, who filmed a number of scenes with his on-screen wife. 

So that's Carrie and Big down, now we're just waiting for those first Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda spots. Stay tuned for regular SATC updates!
