Love Diane Kruger's outfit? Here's how to get the look...

Diane Kruger is not one to shy away from a new trend, and stepping out to attend a swanky Polo Ralph Lauren party in New York, it seems the sassy 39-year-old has a new fashion fancy in wide leg trousers.

Yes, Diane proved that ultra-wide leg trousers are indeed wearable, and the chicest (and easiest) way to wear the trend is top-to-toe monochrome.

Keeping the look current, and oh-so-worthy of a glamorous fashion bash, Diane wore her high-waist pair with a low-key jersey top, a black blazer, some black flats and a sleek blow dry.

There's one accessory we just can't ignore. Those braces are highly unexpected, but totally work. Should you be feeling brave, the added charm of a pair of old black braces will no doubt liven up your look.

Asos has all your braces needs covered, and offers up pretty much any print, colour and width, although we think Diane has the right idea sticking to a matchy-matchy colour combo.

If like us, you love this look, it's easier to recreate than you might think.

Chances are you'll have a fair few items already lurking in the back of your wardrobe, if not all of them. Remeber those old white linen trousers, saved only for hot holidays and swiftly discarded in favour of your new skinny jeans? They'll do the job nicely.

A casual black tee should be worn tucked into your wide leg trews. And to finish, just throw on an old blazer (Zara's belted version is our top pick, and will go a long way in your wardrobe), some chic black slides (A.P.C) and some fine gold hoops to complete your A-List look.
