H&M unveils an exciting new way of shopping David Beckham's Bodywear collection, set to debut at the Super Bowl XLVIII...
David Beckham has bagged himself a prime time advertising spot during next month’s Super Bowl, with a 30-second clip that’s set to change the way we shop.
According to WWD, H&M has big plans for the world-famous slot, said to cost around $4 million, which it’s secured to promote Beckham’s latest Bodywear campaign.
Seriously, it sounds amazing.
Not only will we see clips of Beckham running across East London’s Truman Brewery like James Bond, but viewers will be able to shop the ad as it happens.
Yep, American owners of Samsung Smart TVs will be able to buy David’s Bodywear line using their TV remotes.
The technology first is known as a ‘T-commerce platform’, and although only available to owners of 2012 and 2013 Samsung Smart TVs, it’s undoubtedly a massive step for the consumer world.
Around 90 million Americans are expected to tune in to the Super Bowl XLVIII on 2 February, with the ads also being aired inside the MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
David’s new collection will be his fifth for the high-street store, introducing nine new styles via the commercial.
