Kendall Jenner! Blake Lively! It can only be the Michael Kors show...

Michael Kors presented his AW16 collection at New York Fashion Week this afternoon, with Kendall Jenner making a stunning appearance on the runway, and Blake Lively dominating the front row on the sidelines.

These are the moments you need to know about…

Kendall Jenner Walked The Show ‘You have the best personal style,’ Michael Kors’ model commandments of the season began. ‘You are chic, stylish and march to your own beat. Be strong , beautiful and glamorous, shine like a star. Have a great show!’ Surely this mantra was made for Miss Jenner, in her pewter brocade minidress, strung together with chain. Michael has officially given us AW16 party dressing goals.

Blake Lively Owned The Front Row Our #WomanCrushWednesday award goes to the one and only Blake Lively, who blatantly ignored New York’s sub-zero temperatures and wore her favourite nude lace dress and camel coat combo anyway.

Checks Are A Thing The first trend of AW16 has officially broken. Checks, particularly monochrome ginghams, have been doing the rounds all New York Fashion Week, and their appearance in Michael Kors’ collection confirms their status as the one to watch. The designer delivered all sorts of combinations – from Tartans to houndstooth hybrids.

You Need To See The Coats Michael Kors gives good coat. Fact. And for AW16 he’s got all sorts of options – think P-Diddy worthy white chubbies, military-style pea coats… even a teddy texture lime bomber jacket or two. See all the looks in the gallery above.

Texture, Too, Is Everything From the first look frayed jeans, to the Ostrich feather halters, to the spliced ribbon finale gowns, every look was jangling with texture. We all know that Mr Kors was a Studio 54 original and, clearly, he wants us all to have a good time and shake it come AW16.
