The heat is on – and so is our quest for shoes that are comfortable and look great. Enter ballet pumps. They're the perfect go-to shoes for summer. They go with everything – trousers, skirts, dresses – and are so easy to wear. You can dress them up or down and are ideal for running around the city or for all those summer getaways you have planned.

Here are the three pairs I have my eye on…

I adore the colour of this Lanvin pump, and just think how great it would look with a monochrome outfit – the flash of colour would just lift it, leaving you looking incredibly stylish. Day or night, this ballet pump works hard. It would look beautiful with a tea dress during the day, then a skirt and white shirt in the evening. Lanvin ballet pumps are some of the best – they won't wear and will last you year after year.

This Chloé ballet shoe is a classic that Chloé does every season. It comes in a huge variety of colours and the dainty scalloped edge makes it that extra bit special. I would wear it with a pair of skinny jeans or cropped trousers and a silk blouse. Chloé also does this style with an eyelet detail in case you're looking for something more fancy for the evening.

Office has a great selection of pumps and this one is my favourite. The price is great for such a classic-style shoe. The cream quilting with black tip is timeless and I would wear this shoe with a little black dress or a black trouser suit. You can wear this shoe all day long… it is that comfortable!
