Style icons Alexa Chung and Anna Dello Russo turn models for Net-a-Porter's S/S 11 magazine

Net-a-Porter have announced their first ever celebrity stars - trendsetter Alexa Chung and fashion maverick Anna Dello Russo - to model in their S/S11 magazine.

Showcasing the hottest looks from the spring summer catwalks, Alexa wears Erdem's coveted lace red dress (Shh...Peacocks has already come up with an amazing high-street version).

Meanwhile Anna is sporting a silk-organza number from Roksanda Illincic complete with lobster hat - well what else can we expect from the fashionista with a penchant for eccentric headwear?

So why choose the fashpack and not their usual models?

'The fashion industry has been increasingly inspired by the front row personalities and it seemed a natural fit for its most photographed stars Alexa and Anna to showcase our spring looks in their respective iconic styles.'

'For us they represent the two directions of the season. This spring offers a broad spectrum of choice and we hope the latest issue of our print magazine will both excite and inspire,' say Net-a-Porter's Claudia Plant.

There's been a spate of actresses-turned-models (January Jones and Blake Lively to name but a few) and with a month of fashion weeks kicking off, it looks like celebrities are leading the way.

We can't wait to see what Alexa and Anna wear to fashion week!
